2/2-weg direct werkende axiale spoel magneetventiel, ook voor hoogviskeuze, smerende of verontreinigde media tot 64 bar.
Type 2/918 ventielen worden bij voorkeur gebruikt op plaatsen waar vanwege de vloeistofeigenschappen geen zittingventielen kunnen worden gebruikt.
Een ander argument ten gunste van dit ontwerp is dat het in alle richtingen kan worden doorstroomd en afgesloten en dat het zowel in horizontale als in verticale pijpleidingen kan worden geïnstalleerd.
