2/2-Wege pneum.- direktgesteuertes Axialschieberventil, auch für hochviskose, schmierende oder verschmutzte Medien bis 160 bar. Ventile vom Typ 2/918 werden vorzugweise dort eingesetzt, wo aufgrund der Fluidbeschaffenheit keine Sitzventile eingesetzt werden können. Ein weiteres Argument für diese Bauart ist die Durchströmbarkeit und Absperrbarkeit in alle Richtungen sowie der beliebige Einbau in horizontaler wie vertikaler Rohrleitung.
Als Steuerventil werden die Pilotventile Typ 72 und 81 verwendet.
